Phillip A. Reinsch

Mr. Reinsch has served as our President and Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) since 2016. Mr. Reinsch has served as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer and Secretary since 2006 and was appointed Treasurer in 2015. Previously he served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary from 2003 to 2006 and served in other executive positions with the Company since 1993. Prior thereto Mr. Reinsch was employed by Ernst & Young LLP from 1984 to 1993. Mr. Reinsch is a certified public accountant and is a member of the NAREIT Mortgage REIT Council, the Financial Executives International Dallas Chapter Real Estate Industry Steering Committee and the National Association of Corporate Directors.

Robert R. Spears Jr.

Mr. Spears has served as our executive vice president – director of residential mortgage investments since July 2006. Prior thereto, Mr. Spears had served as our senior vice president – asset and liability management since February 1999. From April 1994 to February 1999, he served as our vice president – asset and liability management. Mr. Spears was employed by NationsBanc Mortgage Corporation from 1990 to April 1994, last serving as vice president – secondary marketing manager.

Roy S. Kim

Mr. Kim has served as our Senior Vice President – Asset and Liability Management since April 2015. Prior thereto, Mr. Kim was Portfolio Manager at Regan Capital, a registered investment advisor focusing on the distressed non-agency RMBS sector. From 2004-2012, Mr. Kim was Executive Director at J.P. Morgan Securities in New York, NY where he was head of agency hybrid RMBS trading. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Mr. Kim was Senior Vice President at Bank of America in Charlotte, NC where he was responsible for managing interest rate risks related to the mortgage origination rate lock pipeline and servicing assets. Mr. Kim also shared responsibilities for establishing Bank of America’s prime non-agency hybrid ARM shelf and had primary responsibility for managing risk and execution on monthly issuance.

Mr. Kim is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Finance.
