Information on mortgage loans previously serviced by Capstead Inc. and transferred to GMAC Mortgage can now be obtained from GMAC Mortgage at CBSG.Lienrelease@gmacm.com or by calling toll free (800) 766-4622.
Mortgage Release or Satisfaction
If you require a release of lien and the mortgage was paid in full to Capstead between January 1993 and September 1999, please fax the following information to our Lien Release Department at (214) 874-2398:
• Copy of the title report indicating the outstanding release
• Legible copy of the first page of the recorded mortgage including the legal description
• Loan number
• Phone number
• Overnight address
